Welcome to the Just for Fun Golf League (JFFL) More than just a golf league!

Good afternoon everyone! There were quite a few teams missing last night. All I can say is, "You missed one Beautiful night on the course!" It was perfect. Jay and I played with Jayne and Mat and had an awesome evening. Thanks for letting us play along guys. We had a blast!

Next week is position round. As you know, there are 6 points on the line and that can either help or hurt the teams at the top. So we'll see how it all goes next week. The week after, (10/20/26) will be our last evening of the season. We will play 9 holes, but it will just be for fun, not worth any points. We'll then go inside for Dinner and Awards. Dinner will be provided for all JFFL players. You are more than welcome to bring anyone you would like, however you'll need to pay for their meal. Larry has talked with Eagles Landing and we are waiting for information re/ the meal and we'll let everyone know as soon as possible. But for now, please let me know if you're going to be able to make it for the Dinner & Awards, and if you're bringing any guests, so we can give the course a good head count.

Oh What a Night It Was! Here's what happened.

- Cooper Tracy shot a great Low Gross of 40. but Vic Dyson pushes him aside with his awesome score of 39 and takes the $8.00 pot! Way to play Gentlemen, way to play!

- We also had a three-way tie for Low Net. Danny Hickem, Greg Byrd and Mat McCann all shot awesome rounds with a net score of 31, however, Jay Wellman strolled in with a net score of 30 and took the win and $22.00 home with him! Way to go everyone. Great round Jay!

Birdies for the night Go To:

- Josh Zumwalt showed up to play and scored Birds on Holes #5 & #6. Way to step outside your comfort zone and kick butt Josh! Josh is a Hero!

- Brad Turner woke up on hole #7. He either slept thru it, stopped scoring at 2 or he Birdied the darn hole! Excellent work Brad!

- Danny Hickam was able to get a little sleep before coming out and feeling vibrant enough to score Birds on Holes #7 & #8. Very Impressive Danny!

- Cooper Tracy is back and better than ever, but not good enough to get more than one Bird. He birdied #1 That's it

- Bob Clark swooped in from outta nowhere to Birdy #3. Awesome Blossom!

- Justin Perschau cranks out a Bird on Hole # 7. Nothing else to talk about here.

- Doug Thurman has been showing up all year, and last night he finally decided to play golf! The Man Birdied Holes $5 & #7. We have a second Hero!

- Seth Boehmer has been doing everything possible to improve his game this year. He really, really wants one of our special JFFL Trophies. So something clicked last night and he Birdied Holes #4 & #5. Very nice work Seth. I'll let you know about the trophy soon, but you are another weekly Hero!

- Chris Barnett tore it up last nigh folks. This man not only walked 9 holes on a beautiful night, but he was also able to strip a stroke off of hole #16 for a Bird! Superb! Sorry, but you needed two to be a Hero!

That's all for this week folks. Please don't forget to send me your head count for the last night. Next week determines our winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Cheer them on!

Thanks for keeping the Fun in JFFL!
